PANTONE COLORS FOR SPRING 2014: CELOSIA ORANGE...

With most of the country experiencing record low temperatures, I figured maybe I should explore a hot topic today and by hot I mean in color. Continuing the orange trend from the previous seasons' reports for 2013 (Nectarine for spring and Koi for Fall), another vibrant hue from the Pantone Spring Color Report for 2014 is CELOSIA ORANGE...

Influenced by the flower,

According to the Pantone Color Institute, "Celosia is an optimistic, spontaneous hue" which is a well-suited compliment to Violet Tulip and Paloma. Fashion designers are eagerly producing lively wares in this captivating color:

Of course, interior designers follow suit with Celosia accents and accessories to create great spaces:

Here's to keeping warm. Happy trend spotting...

Peace and Blessings,

  1. WOW! You've decorated your house in an amazing way - everything looks so beautiful. I like the black chandelier with some crystals but your dog is definitely one of the cutest 'decorations' in this room;)
