PANTONE COLOR FOR SPRING: DUSK BLUE

Every year The Pantone Institute develops a list of color trends for the upcoming fashion season. These colors transcend into the world of interior design as well. We've all heard that Emerald is Pantone's Color of the Year but what about the other wonderful hues we can expect to see?

First up - DUSK BLUE. This is a muted blue with a calming sense of serenity much like its green counterpart, Grayed Jade. Both of these colors act as the season's newest neutrals, along with Linen of course, to the other vibrant colors in this Spring's spectrum.

Here are several spaces where designers have incorporated the calming effects of dusk blue into their interiors...

Happy trend spotting...

  1. I LOVE THIS! Pantone colors are all so fabulous and Dusk Blue is a prime example! We love it so much that we made it our color of the week and put together a fabulous outfit on our blog to show how to dress wearing Pantone's Dusk Blue using a triadic color palette. You can take a look at it here www.weartostandout.com/blog/pantone-dusk-blue and tell us what you think! xoxo, WearToStandOut
